Hey everyone. Sorry again to have to do this, but I am again receiving a lot of comments on this video saying either that it is fake, or that I am cheating. If you think the video is fake, please see speedrun.com where you can clearly see that the run is verified by a moderator. If you choose not to do this, or if you just want to post a comment anyway saying the run is fake or that I cheated, I will remove the comment immediately. I will not argue with you or let you post multiple comments all over my video (pinging my phone each time) stating your (braindead) opinion that xyz thing should be considered a glitch. Creating multiple accounts to post the same comment will yield the same result. You can cry and complain on your own time, but you will be banned from posting comments here. Literally no one cares about your opinions, or your 5+ comments saying I'm a cheater or insulting the quality of my content. You are a weirdo. You are starving for attention. With that said, thank you to all of the normal people who watch the video and move on with their lives afterward!
EDIT: 7/1/24: After some reflection, I've decided that I going forward, I won't be banning anyone for excessive comments anymore. Call it maturing, or whatever you want. I've just decided that I'm ignoring a portion of my fans by banning the people who dislike me. Incidentally, the people who contribute hateful comments do a lot more for my channel than just about anyone else due simply to commenting so many times 😅. I do try to read every comment if I can and mark them all with a ❤ so you know I noticed you. Whether it's hate or love I'm just glad you felt strongly enough about what I'm doing here to watch/comment. So, now I can say sincerely, thank you to 100% of the viewers of my videos. The entire run is incredibly impressive, but I also gotta say that that really brief Micolash dying "A-!" was also hilarious and oddly satisfying. Dude speedran his own screaming like he knew what was going on.
All you have to do is press the X button and it skips his dialogue..... that goes for any dialogue in the game. Can't sprint while he's talking so unless skipped, you have to slowly walk around. Which goes without saying is a waste of time.
@@lGenso Ah, I see! As it happens, I've never played Bloodborne myself, only watched people play it (not a PS owner), so I was unaware of that. I thought the NPCs would simply keep yelling while you leave them behind, so it was amusing for me to hear Micolash scream so short.

I just got this game a couple weeks ago and just platinumed it a couple days ago, it’s now my favorite game of all time. Seeing this is insane, it’s unreal how precise you are and I also didn’t know you could kill some of these bosses as quickly as you do. Awesome video and congrats on the world record.

Hey man, great run! I actually just beat the game for the first time ever this week so it was fun watching you turn my 34 hour playthrough into 30 minutes 😂. Not sure if you are still seeing these comments but i was curious as to some of the mechanics that you used and abused, specifically when you were in the nightmare of mensis and the frenzy grew real slow without you having resistances. If you could explain or if you have a link that goes into that or other in game mechanics that'd be much appreciated! Again awesome run! I love the speedrun community!
@@7JCLibs7 The frenzy didn't grow any slower than it normally does. There was no exploit being used there. If you simply run through that area like I did, you won't ever get frenzy proc.

@rankpush2062 It's a little embarrassing, but I actually don't have the platinum trophy in this game. The only game in the series I never bothered to platinum, and by far the one I have the most time in. Congrats on your platinum trophy.

My gf and i were watching this together and we noticed you extend the saw blade and then retract it right before a boss cutscene. Is that a cue you use or is there some time save reason?
@Papanug When you toggle a weapon and/or hold up shield/trick a weapon in these games, it allows you to continue sprinting without any stoppage during the cutscene, assuming you are holding O throughout. It's imperative to do this for certain fights or you won't make it to the correct spot in time to execute the strategies.

@maxdishaw It doesn't really do anything consistently. Sometimes the enemies will ignore you, but most of the time they will just aggro early and kill you for trying to do this.

@maxdishaw If it was consistent it would be, but it isn't. It can happen any time you change a piece of equipment whether you want it to or not. Meaning if we banned this tech we would have to effectively disallow changing equipment at all, which makes no sense.

out of curiosity, why do you take off all the clothes at certain points? i know the reason for the hat equip/unequip but there's no weight system like there is in the dark souls games in bb. great run btw, seeing you take out shadows like that was crazy
Taking off your armor and weapons in any Souls game decreases fall damage received.

I came here because I wasn't too platinum the game and this is the fastest way I've seen
I dont get it. What exactly are people pointing out as fake or cheating? It looked 100% legit to me. Like nothing sucpicious at all.
Various reasons, some more 5Head than others. Killing a boss too quickly, running past an enemy that they themselves were unable to get by, using items, using In-Game Time rather than Real Time Attack (which is the rule for this game on speedrun.com, not even my rule) to time the run, etc. In the past, I was annoyed by almost daily remarks saying the run was illegitimate, spliced, etc., so I blocked many, many users. Mostly people who commented many times without me responding and people who I chatted with briefly, then they continued to blow my phone up with notifications after I stopped responding. This was my mistake, which is why I didn't delete my original thread and rather amended it. I failed to realize that these comments are actually from some of my biggest fans, who I was denying the opportunity to speak with me and interact, even if it is negative. Just because they don't understand the rules of the category, or claim that I'm a cheater ignorantly without any understanding of what they're talking about, that doesn't mean I shouldn't let them say their piece and feel good about themselves for telling me off lol. I can't respond to people infinitely, but I can mark comments so everyone knows that I'm seeing what they have to say to me, whether it's good or bad.
It feels bad seeing you getting hate just for being this good. That being said, it makes sense cause you're crazy good.
It's not a bad thing at all. I want to hear from everyone, even the people who don't like me.

really nice to see youre still checking comments here, do you have any advice on how to go about learning this run? ive been trying to learn through just constant repetition, i did up to Gascoigne for around 6 hours yesterday to try get used to that portion of the run, and im just planning to add an extra boss every couple days to get used to it, would you say this is efficient or should i try doing full runs no matter how sloppy they may be
@@bron694 The best thing is to do whatever works for you. Trying to learn speedrunning by starting with this route is beyond crazy, but if it works for you then go for it.

At the beginning when you were running past the wolf, were you taking the hood on and off for a reason or just because? lol I'm just trying to learn
It sometimes causes the wolf not to follow your character anytime you change a piece of armor or weapon. Same as other Souls games.

@topography It's a side effect of the game system. It can happen any time you change a piece of equipment whether you want it to or not. Because it can happen randomly any time, the community doesn't ban changing weapons and armor because that makes no sense, and we don't ban changing weapons and armor when you're near an enemy because you're constantly near enemies in this game. Just an unavoidable by-product of the game, so there's no reason we can't at least try to make it work in our favor. If it was 100% consistent in avoiding enemies, everyone would be running everywhere spamming a toggle on the equipment bar. What you don't see in a run like this that you do see in the failed attempts, is the many times you run by spamming, and this doesn't work, and the enemy punches you in the mouth and kills you lol. But the run is verified on speedrun.com and all of the rules were followed. Inevitably, some people will decide that this small allowance violates their personal view of what a glitch should be, which is all good, but that is at least, the explanation of why the moderators and the speedrun community don't reject runs for the purpose of just changing equipment. Bloodborne runs are actually quite strict in terms of "glitchless" rulesets vs a lot of other souls games, Dark Souls 3, for example, where you see stuff like fall damage canceling being allowed. No sleight on any of my Dark Souls 3 counterparts. I love watching their content, and I recommend other people check those runs out, too, if you haven't already.

I don't think I've ever seen someone destroy bosses so quickly without being insanely over levelled/glitching. Very impressive, especially the shadows fight, they didn't stand a chance lol.
A lot of speedrunners can kill bosses without being highly leveled or using glitches.

You cannot disable it.

@@4rsenicTMIf you're shaking or smashing on your gamepad while pressing X, it's gonna trigger constantly. You have to hold the pad steady while tapping the button.

congrats for the run. why the cleric beast kill tho? isn't it an optional boss? (i'm playing the game for the 1st time)
You either need to kill cleric beast to buy the key to open cathedral ward and progress the game, or kill Blood Starved Beast by running all the way to the bottom of Old Yharnam, which opens the door to upper cathedral ward. Running to BSB takes over a minute longer than killing Cleric Beast and skipping that entire area.

Hi, excellent run! The trick with Micolash in p2 isn't considered as a glitch ?
@pikboy27 Blocking him from running through a door is not a glitch, nope. I rolled off a balcony while executing a precision plunge attack, then simply stood in a door to prevent him from running past me. None of this involves going out of bounds, or performing a game mechanic that the developers did not program into the game (ie. when two NPCs bodies touch, the game is coded to repel the bodies from one another.) Just because something is difficult to do doesn't necessarily mean it's a glitch. Every other Bloodborne speedrun, both with glitches and glitchless, by every other runner, unless the run is more than 6-7 years old, does this exact same thing.

I only one-try Father Gascoigne on my first playthrough, I have like 5 vials when I entered unknowingly, good thing 2-hits cheese works, 2 attacks after a dodge 😊
This is really cool but just a question, how come you don’t viseral attack when u stun the enemies? i saw you didn’t do it against gasgcoine or the shadows, is it to save time? Surely you’d kill them quicker if you did so no?
@ir_7862 Visceral attacking loses about 5 seconds each time and does significantly reduced damaged unless you have a build centered around visceral attacks at high level. Obviously we don't have a level 200 character for speedruns, so visceral attacks are one of the worst and slowest forms of damage available to us. For example, if I visceral Gascoigne after each backstab, I will do around 200 damage (roughly, I don't remember exactly what it is because speedrunners don't visceral bosses, because it's terrible) vs throwing a molly at him which does around 435 damage. Two times the amount of damage and throwing a molly takes 1/3 of the time to do vs the entire, pathetically slow, visceral animation.
Doesnt take a genius to figure it out. Surely youd figure hes underleveled, viscerals take long, molotovs do more damage on beast.
